Shandy Dill

LeAD Pastor

Shandy Dill is a native of north Mississippi. He and his wife, Lindsey, have been married since 2009 and have two daughters, Charlie and Mabrie. Shandy became Senior Pastor of FBCS in 2018. Shandy has a Masters of Divinity from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Shandy loves preaching God's Word, spending time with his family, studying history, and cheering on the Ole Miss Rebels and Memphis Grizzlies.

Christian Henry


Christian Henry was born and raised in Mentone, AL and is a graduate of Valley Head High School. He graduated from Kentucky Christian University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management and Biblical Studies, where he also played football. While attending KCU, Christian met his wife, Laura Henry. He has been serving at FBC Scottsboro since December 2017. A few of his passions are sports/fitness and superhero movies!

Tracy Gray

Worship & DISCIPLESHIP Pastor

Tracy Gray is a native of Hurley, Mississippi. Moving to Oxford, Mississippi to achieve a bachelor’s degree from The University of Mississippi, Tracy met his wife and Oxford native, Heather. Tracy began serving on staff at First Baptist Church beginning in April 2020. He, his wife, and their four children moved to Scottsboro, Alabama in October of 2020. Tracy has a tremendous heart for the Gospel of Christ, people, and the need for all to worship the Lord wholeheartedly.

Laura Henry


Laura Henry is a native of Louisville, Kentucky. She and her husband, Christian, moved to Scottsboro, Alabama in December 2017.  Laura served as FBC's Ministry Assistant for a couple years before accepting the position as the Director of Children's Ministry in January 2020. Laura has a passion for Children's Ministry and enjoys teaching and discipling the children of FBC Scottsboro.

Gaynell Robison


An Alabama native Mrs. Gaynell Robison, husband Jack and son Mark moved to Scottsboro Al, from Oneonta, Al and joined the FBC Family in 1970s.  Mrs. Gaynell enjoys the fellowship and working with the staff. 

Sarah Guinn

Administrative Assistant 

Sarah Guinn native to Sand Mountain began working at FBC in September 2020. Sarah has a passion for missions, kids ministry, and media outreach. 

Teri Mattia

Learning center director

Teri Mattia joined the FBC Staff in December 2015 as the Finance Director and Assistant Children’s Minister.  Since then, she has transitioned to serve as the Director of the FBC Learning Center.  Teri has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama, and loves cheering on the Crimson Tide. She has two adult children, Chelsey (husband Richard) and Alex.
Teri believes that God has a wonderful plan for all children, and she loves helping children to learn and walk in that truth.  She is passionate about serving families and children and seeing lives changed for the glory of God.
